Eggs are one of my favorite proteins for many reasons. They’re tasty, versatile, and SO cheap!
And even though pretty much everyone and their mother will say they at least know how to cook scrambled eggs, I personally doubt that everyone knows how to make them well.
I want to help change that!
If you’ve ever made a batch of scrambled eggs and thought to yourself, “wow, these don’t have any flavor” or, “wow, these are really dry” or, “dang, what did I just put in my mouth?” then I want to teach you one method to defeat gross eggs!
No one likes flavorless or dry eggs so the two keys to great scrambled eggs are 1) milk and 2) CHEESE.
If you’ve read any of my other recipes you will know that I hardly make anything that doesn’t have a decent amount of cheese in it. Cheese makes everything better in my book!
I’m also a fan of sneaking vegetables in anywhere I can to get my kids (and myself) to get their servings in! Enter spinach!
Spinach is my favorite vegetable to sneak in places. The only way you can tell it’s in there is the little spots of green peaking out. Gotta love sneaky vegetables!
Now the spinach isn’t absolutely necessary, but I highly recommend trying it!
This method is super easy, but life changing! Get ready.
How To Make The Best, Cheesiest Scrambled Eggs:
- Crack eggs in a mixing bowl.

2. Add salt, pepper, and milk.
3. Whisk together until the yolks and whites are mixed.
4. Add spinach (if using) by tearing with your hands or cutting with kitchen scissors. Mix in.
5. Put skillet on medium-high heat. Spray really well with cooking spray once hot.
6. Add egg mixture to skillet and let sit for about 30 seconds.

Stir and scrape the bottom of the skillet with a silicone spatula.

Here is a great set of silicone spatulas if you’re looking for some. Great price too!
7. Add cheese when eggs are halfway cooked and stir.
8. Repeat process of letting cook for 20 seconds and scraping/stirring until cooked to desired texture. Lower the heat if the eggs are browning too quickly.
9. Pair with some bacon and toast and you have breakfast heaven!

Our favorite weekday breakfast!
These were the easiest, best addition to our breakfast rotation. I can finally make scrambled eggs that I’m proud of!
Now if I could just stack my cracked egg shells like yours…I’d be a pro!! Thanks for making the simplicity of cooking eggs so inviting and tasty! My family loved them!
My whole family gobbled this up!!! So delicious!!! I never would’ve guessed milk!!!
I agree – cheese makes everything better!! Adding the spinach is a great move! These eggs are soooo good.
