Now this amazing concoction my husband’s family so lovingly refers to as “Dirt Cake” is an absolute STAPLE at any and every family gathering we have!

Dirt Cake is basically a pudding-like version of a cookies and cream shake.

It has Oreos, cool whip, cream cheese, and pudding among other things. And I mean, come on! What else could you want in a dessert??

My mother-in-law always makes at least 2 or 3 batches of this for every family holiday. She is very wise to know that one batch will most definitely not satisfy our family of Dirt Cake addicts!

We will usually put a few heaping scoops into plastic cups, grab spoons, and go to town!

Something about eating dessert out of a cup just kind of makes you feel rebellious!

My favorite part of this dessert is how EASY it is to make! It really is so simple. But everyone still goes CRAZY over it.

So go ahead and give this one a try! Impress your friends or family with a dessert they will end up eating until they’re sick because it really is just THAT GOOD!
